HP iPAQ 610 Business Navigator has innovative new feature in the world of business smartphones - built in numberpad, unlike most of the models that have integrated keyboard. It features Smart Touch wheel which functions as scroller enabling fast switching through menus on this iPAQ. Other features are more-less well known: lots of memory, great connectivity, built-in camera and QVGA display.
Asus MyPal is traditional PDA with great design, standard features (Bluetooth, WiFi, QVGA display and Windows Mobile 6 Professional). Nothing too impressive or beyond competition.
HP iPAQ rx5915 Travel Companion features SiRFstar III GSC3F GPS chip and comes with maps, but unlike most GPS-PDA’s it has great number of features that those devices lack. Great QVGA screen, Bluetooth, WiFi and SD/MMC card slot make it excellent choice for those who want full-feature PDA-GPS device.
HP iPAQ RX 4200 is one of the first HP’s devices marketed as Mobile Media Companion, and also is made as Personal entartainment device. WiFi, Bluetooth, and good battery life will give you more juice while on the go, and EVDO connectivity enables you persistent access to Internet in places where you don’t have WiFi signal.
HP iPAQ 510 Voice Messenger has numberpad and is without touchscreen. Also, it’s 2.0" display features great resolution for that size - QVGA. It runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard on top of TI OMAP processor running at 200 MHz which is in our opinion too slow.
Sony mylo is a new type of device, mobile Internet device (MID) which is pushed by Nokia, Sony and Apple. It can access the Web, use as Skype phone over WiFi, acts like a camera and uses great WVGA screen. You can also use it as PMP or PDA (for file management, text editor or IM communicator). To say the least, this new type of device is really on track of something more futuristic than existing iPhone or Nokia Internet Tablet. Can’t wait to see more of platform developement and response from Windows Mobile, since, Sony is quite known for rather developing own media devices than going with the masses.
Palm Centro was introduced after Treo 680, and despite of moving to Windows Mobile platform, Palm decided to push another smartphone with own OS. With price of $99 with 2-year contract, Centro was a success.
HP iPaq 210 is high end PDA (or Pocket PC) device with lots of great features including VGA screen and Dual memory slots. Many will compare this device to Axim x50v or HP hx4700. This is the very high-end device.
In USA, extremly popular HTC Touch is named Verizon XV6900… Here we go with the tech specs:
