Netgear ReadyNAS Pro - 6 bat NAS Tech Specs and Images

After six months Netgear will release new ReadyNAS device which will feature 6-bay unit. You can get it with 6 TB, 3 TB and 1.5 TB of storage - the code names are: 6TB RNDP6610; 3TB RNDP6310; 1.5TB RNDP6350.
The box will feature Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1 GB of RAM (supports up to 4 GB), 128 MB embedded flash RAM for OS, two gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 2.0 ports, and support for RAID 0/1/5/6. Price is still TBA, but we can expect it to be really high. Supported OS will be Windows / Mac / Linux.
Sotec will release WinBook WV on May 10th, and it will feature: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1, Athlon X2 TK-57 running at 1.90 GHz, 120 GB HDD, 2 GB RAM, 15,4" screen with 1280*800 px resolution, WiFi (b/g), DVD Multi optical drive. This notebook will weight 2.9 kg and have 2.9 hrs battery life. Casing is nice white-gray. Price: 610 EUR. Bad news: available only in Japan (for now).
Sony eBook Reader offers new experience in reading ebooks. Sony has accomplished to place amazing display technology to enable ebook reading experience similar to reading of ordinary paper book. This device can get large number of books by connecting to Connect eBookstore and than getting ebooks from your computer.
Sony mylo is a new type of device, mobile Internet device (MID) which is pushed by Nokia, Sony and Apple. It can access the Web, use as Skype phone over WiFi, acts like a camera and uses great WVGA screen. You can also use it as PMP or PDA (for file management, text editor or IM communicator). To say the least, this new type of device is really on track of something more futuristic than existing iPhone or Nokia Internet Tablet. Can’t wait to see more of platform developement and response from Windows Mobile, since, Sony is quite known for rather developing own media devices than going with the masses.
Medion Akoya Mini is another in line of EEE PC challengers, which proves that EEE started a real revolution on sub-notebook market. This newcomer also feeatues Linux as choice-OS, but also has 1 GB of RAM, as standard feature, two USB ports, memory card slot, 1.3 megapixel webcam, VGA out… Medion Akoya Mini wil debut in Europe soon, and the price tag will be 399 EUR. Stylish looks and price tag will be it’s pro’s but… Medion is not a brand as Asus is… so we think they will have to do better.

Kohjinsha SR Series is 7" ultraportable laptop. It features built-in optical drive, 84-key keyboard, touchscreen, built-in TV Tuner (works only in Japan)…
Frontier FRNL11 is lightweight notebook that has waterproof (water resistant) keyboard, can withstand up to 120 kg weight and up to 75 cm drop, both in lab test (do not try this if you don’t have to :).
